GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Addressable Loop Input/Output Module (803 0006) when programmed as an output provides three sets of Form “C” dry relay contacts that switch together (two contacts rated to switch 230V AC @ 3A and one contact rated for switching 30V DC @ 0.5A) and can be used to control external appliances such as dampers, fans, door holders, etc. If the device is programmed as an input module, provision is made for one monitored input connection (utilizing a 3k3Ω End Of Line (EOL) with a 680Ω firing resistor) and can be used to monitor external appliances such as flow switches, aspirating systems, video image fire detection systems, etc. The module is designed with a single colour red LED to indicate the output status; continuous RED indicates that the output has been activated. There is no LED indication provided when the device is used as an input. Short circuit isolators are also built into the device in order to protect the system in the event of a cable fault
